Since 2017, we have been responsiblefor a full scope of services for the largest outlet center in south-west Poland. One of our duties has been the organization and promotion of events which build the image of the center and, above all else, activate customers.
WFO is important point on the map of Wrocław. Liked and visited by people from across the region, it also attracts travelers passing through the nearby airport. Planning activities for such a client is a huge undertaking. We’ve run large events like Destination Denim for WFO, but here are just a few of the smaller activities that we’ve successfully worked on at the outlet center.
How do you most effectively reach the families with children who make up one welcome group of visitors to the center? You create attractions that are engaging, provide unforgettable experiences and teach them something new. We arranged multi-faceted workshops for kids which really drew crowds of the target audience.
Our mascot workshop was a dedicated area where kids could create their own dwarf, which is a beloved symbol of the city of Wrocław, in the shopping center. Participants could select the character’s beard, belly, cap, and scarf and then take their hand-build cuddly toys home.
We prepared a very special purchased-based competition, in which anyone purchasing goods above a certain price was entered into a draw with prizes including a balloon flight for two over Wrocław. We fired the imagination of our adult clients. Every hour the receipt with the highest value from allthose entered into the event won a prize.
The Candy factory was an event that was run simultaneously. Families observed the process of making sweets from natural ingredients and then had the chance to make their own sweets with a little help from the experts on hand. Those who were full of imagination were invited to the balloon stand.
The New Horizons International Film Festival influenced our next event. We organized a special WFO zone at the New Horizons Cinema where we had fun with festival participant sand prepared an exhibition of the most stylish of them. They also shared examples of where film fashion has influenced the high street.
We created the Wrocław Fashion Outlet relaxation area at the New Horizons Cinema. Viewers could share their thoughts after screenings and those who were out of energy found place to rest in the comfortable seats or recharge their phones in the loading port.
How do you organize a festive event that feels different to any other? You engage, teach, and inspire. That’s why the Santa events in Wrocław Fashion Outlet took the form of multi-faceted creative workshops for the whole family.
We convinced both adults and kids that sweets taste even better when you make them with your own hands. The participants in the Santa event at WFO took part in a candy making workshop and found out how lollipops are made. And the best bit? They got to take them home afterwards.
Kids also discovered the sweet world of chocolate. With the help of the experts, they got to make and decorate their ownchocolates with a festive taste. The little ones had sacksful of original ideas, and they then took their creations home forthemselves—or as a festive gift for someone close.
We moved Santa HQ from Lapland to Wrocław Fashion Outlet, and he arrived with his much-loved and indispensable helper Snowflake in tow. Youngsters got to meet them and share their Christmas wishes, and then received a festive gift and a souvenir photograph.
Wrocław Fashion Outlet offered shoppers the chance to wrap a present and then pay any amount of money—even a symbolic gesture—to charity. The collected money was donated to the “Formula for Good” Hospice for the children of the Lower Silesian region. It is an exceptional place which
cares for and supports children with terminal illnesses and their loved ones.
Young guests of Wrocław Fashion Outlet saw how two cuddly toys are hand made—Santa and an angel. They had the opportunity to select the beard, belly, hat, and wings for their creation. Youngsters were then able to take their teddy bears home.
